Common questions
Before you ask
The questions we field most often about materials, minimum orders and lead times.
All questions- How much recycled content can a crate have without losing strength?
Up to about 70% for most of our crates, and we will tell you the figure for the specific product rather than quote a company-wide number.
The limit is set by the part, not by the material. A shallow bread crate tolerates far more regrind than a racked pallet, because the pallet is carrying a bending load and the crate is not.
- What is the minimum order?
One piece for stock crates and racks, ten pieces for pallets, and 500 kg for regrind material.
Custom colours and bespoke tooling carry their own minimums, which we quote with the item.
- What are your lead times?
Stock items ship within a few working days. Coloured or custom runs are scheduled against a firm date at the point of order, usually two to four weeks.
Because we mould in Abu Dhabi, a repeat order does not carry a shipping lead time on top of the production one.
- What happens to a crate at the end of its life?
It comes back to us. We reprocess it through our own regrind line and credit the recovered material against your next order.
That take-back is what makes the recycled-content claim on the next crate verifiable rather than aspirational.
